Why We Do What We Do

Childhood Central was created to focus on and support Black child development because there is a gap in culture-specific, credible and relevant information to support child development for the Black diaspora.

This website aims to close that gap. Our objective is to be an information hub for all things related to Black children and families by curating culture-specific, relevant, and accurate information and providing resources to support our children’s development and improve outcomes.
